looking for an eyelet setter - any suggestions?

hi!i've been buying eyelets for a while now but i haven't been able to use them because i can't seem to put them in my pages properly, mainly because i don't have a proper eyelet setter. i saw one in ace for around a 100 bucks but i wasn't sure if it will work for the ones i have. can you recommend a good (but affordable!) eyelet setter? thanks. :)

i have to say, the crop-a-dile is the BEST! kasi hindi niya masisira yung mga eyelets mo. and its soooo easy to use!! =)

yeah if you are kahit pricey, get the crop a dile big bite --- it can go anywhere on your page - heavy duty -- the only downside nga is price and portability -- its one big gigantic puncher looking contraption

I love the crop-a-dile and would confidently recommend this to anyone. but for middle of the page settings, my good old Silent Setter does the job anytime. (cheap pa..it's only $5(!) at www.creativexpress.com)

hi sunshine, joanne, maybs, michelle, thank you for your suggestions.:) parang favorite ng lahat yung crop-a-dile,nacu-curious na rin tuloy ako. i will definitely save up for this, nag-exceed na kasi ako sa scrapbook budget ko for this month e. hehehe. but maybs the silent setter for middle of the page settings, does this mean that hindi abot ng crop-a-dile pag gitna?thanks. :)

Yup! The crop-a-dile can reach just about an inch into the paper. It's big sister, the big bite, has a farther reach. however, reviews I've read about the big bite are not that encouraging. maybe someone who owns one can shed light....

hi ladies! i got my big bite a few weeks back. this one's great for punching holes in the middle of your LO (plus factor na 'silent' siya - great for those late-late-night-scrapping-sessions =) ) I've already tried setting eyelets, the first time i ruined the eyelet kasi parang nadurog siya(buti na lang practice lang), i guess napalakas ang pag squeeze ko nung handle. the second time, it was perfect! i haven't tried the gromlets since i'm don't have them. downside is it's kinda big and heavy. mabigat dalhin sa crops. just my 2 cents.. =)

Hi Jeanie,
Make sure na bilin mo rin un case. Di ko lang sigurado kung magkano dyan. Merong kasamang 100 gromlets & eyelets. That way, meron ka talagang specific storage para sa big bite (kung un ang bibilin mo) dahil yang ang magiging best investment mo (scrapbooking tool wise). :)
